Hi! My name is Melissa. Art is my life, and I try to express myself creatively in as many ways as I can. Sewing is just one of those outlets. It's something that I learned in junior high, picked up again in college, and fell in love with. My favorite things to sew are stuffed animals. The Sugar Posse began as a collection of small doodles in my notebook -- little dragons with big, round heads. After a while, specific characters emerged, each with his or her own unique personality. One day I got the idea to see how well these characters translated into pillow form. The rest is history =)
