Constantly avoided because of her dangerous looking teeth and gruff demeanor, Ruka had resigned herself to being a perpetual loner. Then persistent little Palo found her, and the two have been inseparable since. Since Palo's easy affection and Ruka's new role as older sister have revealed a much softer side to the saber-toothed tiger, the rest of the Sugar Posse have become more relaxed around her. Ruka's happier than ever now, though she wishes Palo would stop telling everyone that she's a giant, squishy marshmallow inside. No one takes her seriously anymore.
